So what is the Main Difference in the Certified Master Inspector vs Certified Professional Inspector Badge?

The experience factor!! Although both are accomplishments, there is no live experience requirement for the Certified Professional Inspector certification. This is advertised routinely with inspectors who are new to the game- and again- congratulations, it’s a hard licensing process here in NJ and any extra steps you take to stand out, become educated and work should be recognized.

However, to become a Certified Master Inspector, to achieve those 1,000 inspections in 3 years, that means you have to be working and performing over 300 inspections per year. That means you’ve inspected over 1,000 types of homes, dealt with 1,000 sets of clients, agents and sellers, produced over 1,000 reports and are eager to do more and further your career!

We are proud to say that Jason Christopher, owner and full time inspector is a Certified Master Inspector and can proudly display the badge.

Just like when you were interviewing agents to help you in your home buying purchase, you checked out their past sales history, their awards, their brand, their representation, you should do the same when hiring a home inspector or other professionals.
